Caitlin Johnson
NICU Parent
Biography
I graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2011 and began my career in-house at a pharmaceutical marketing firm in northern New Jersey, focusing on corporate and healthcare law. In 2014, I gave birth to twin boys at 28 weeks, and in 2017, my daughter was born at 31 weeks—experiences that deeply shaped my passion for supporting NICU families. I’m committed to philanthropy that uplifts and empowers families facing premature birth and extended hospital stays.
Why is the Mission of TIAGD Important to You?
As a parent of thre children born prematurely with lengthy NICU stays, I both understand and have seen the incredible need for support for families in the NICU. The NICU can feel like a lonely and confusing place, and having the support of others can be critical to the emotional and financial health and well-being of the families of children in the unit.
What is one fun fact about you?
Our family has an 85lb pet pig that lives with us in our home.
