Nikhil was born 6.5 weeks early due to my having a placenta previa that turned into a vasa previa. My placenta at one point stopped giving him nutrients, so he stopped growing. Having him be in the NICU for 33 days was the hardest 33 days of our lives. Watching Nikhil strive and pass every hurdle with flying colors meant the world to us. He is our little miracle and our true NICU Ninja!
