Biography

I am an Operating Partner for a lower-middle market private equity firm; I work everyday with small, growing companies to help get them to the next level. I also have substantial experience as a Board member or equivalent with both for-profit and not-for-profit Boards. Finally, I am a NICU parent, having two children in the NICU for five+ months, so I identify closely with the mission of the charity and with the parents going through the NICU experience.

Why is the Mission of TIAGD Important to You?

My own experience as a NICU parent informs the importance of this cause to me. My children were born at 25 weeks and spent over five months each in the NICU. I also know that the NICU experience does not end when the child comes home. Finally, I was born in and live today in the Philadelphia area, so it is special to me that TIAGD has its heart in Philadelphia.

What is one fun fact about you?

I survived stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in my early 20s.
